Exotic culture, breathtaking scenery, priceless art, the entire range of Chinese cuisine, and friendly people make the Republic of China an excellent destination for tourists. Travelers to the ROC can enjoy themselves in comfort with fast and convenient transportation, excellent hotels, and clean restaurants. Unfortunately, many visitors to Taiwan never go far beyond Taipei, and thus deprive themselves of rich cultural experiences and the island's scenic wonders.
