What measures will Taiwan adopt to participate in the WHO?
A: The ROC's determination to join the WHO will not change. Under the direction of President Chen Shui-bian, the task force will actively integrate and manage various resources to continually expand international support. Moreover, we will participate in bilateral and multilateral international health programs and assist with medical treatment, hygiene, and humanitarian concerns. We will make specific contributions and efforts to win the support of friendly nations for our goal of participating in the WHO as soon as possible. |
