Pheasant-tailed Jacana (Hydrophasianus chirurgus)
Pheasant-tailed jacanas are a gregarious, fairy-like species of bird that live in ponds, lakes, wetlands, and watery fields of caltrop, usually located in southern Taiwan. Their specially adapted feet allow them to roam over the surface of hydrophytic plants. (Paper sculpture by Hung Hsin-fu)
