Formosan blue magpies (Urocissa caerulea) are a special species endemic to Taiwan that have a bright red beak and feet; yellow eyes; a black head, neck, and breast; and a blue body. Also called "long-tailed pheasants," they usually appear in small groups in broadleaf forests and secondary forests located at low to middle altitudes.(Ming-Yuan Yeh)
