Children's Organizations

The number of children's organizations in Taiwan is growing continuously, and today include the Children's Welfare League, Chinese Children's Fund, Association for Assisting Abused Children, and Committee for Assisting in the Recovery of Missing Children to name but a few. In the most general sense, the mission of these organizations is to promote awareness of issues relevant to children's welfare and protection of children's rights as well as to encourage concern for children in society and provide children with a better growing environment.

While the rising concern and care for children is worthy of praise, children's organizations are still insufficient in size and number to effectively solve the many issues facing our youngest citizens. It will require the collective talents of us all to insure that we give our kids an even better world in which to grow and develop.
