Quercus
tarokoensis are small evergreen trees with smooth, oblong-
or oval-shaped leaves that are roughly 4cm long and 2cm wide.
Their leaf apices form mucrones, they have cordate leaf bases,
their leaf margins are serrated, and their stalks are short. |
| Habitat: |
Quercus
tarokoensis are endemic to Taiwan and distributed primarily
in the limestone and mountainous areas on the eastern part
of the island at elevations below 1200m. |
