cryptomerioides are tall, straight, and erect trees with
fine and even wood. The only plant named after Taiwan, the
tree has both compound leaves and needles, and is considered
a relic species in geology. It has upward pointing branches
and verdant leaves. |

Taiwania
cryptomerioides are endemic to Taiwan and can be found
spread throughout coniferous and hardwood mixed forests at
1000-2000m elevations. |
