Brown noddy
Profile
Scientific name: Anous stolidus

Features: The Brown noddy is about 33-40cm long and has a wing length of 28cm. They have light, purplish-gray crowns, gray colored throats, the area from their forehead down to their frontal shields is off-white, and the rest of their plumage is brownish-black. Their primary feathers, tail feathers, beaks, and legs are all black.
Behavior: Brown noddies feed primarily on fish and mollusks and prefer to live on coastlines, reef cliffs, and islands located in tropical and subtropical areas. During the summer, they usually gather together with other rare and precious avian migrants to form a huge flock of thousands of different birds, which then fly to the Cat Islets. Since they only breed on secluded islands, Brown noddies are usually only seen regularly on the Pescadore Islands.
Habitat: Brown noddies inhabit primitive and pristine islands like the Cat Islets in the Pescadore Islands.
