National Freeway No. 5 and Hsuehshan Tunnel  


北宜高速公路雪山隧道是台灣最長的公路隧道,是全世界規模最大雙孔公路隧道群,全長共12.9公里,為亞洲第二長的公路隧道,該隧道通車後,大台北休閒生活圈也隨之擴展到蘭陽平原,民眾假日踏青又多了許多選擇。(齊柏林攝)
The 12.9-km Hsuehshan Tunnel on the No. 5 Freeway is the longest road tunnel in Taiwan and the second-longest in Asia. With this tunnel, Taipeians will see their weekend travel options expand to include eastern Taiwan.

Taipei's Maokong Gondola

Entering service in the summer of 2007, Taipei’s Maokong Gondola travels a distance of 4,000 meters, stopping along the way at four stations.
