The Executive Yuan's Government Information Office will cease operations on May 20, 2012, and its services will be redistributed to other government organizations as follows:
The services provided by the former departments of Radio, Television, and Publishing (including the Pop Music Section) will be shifted to Bureau of Audiovisual and Music Industry Development, Ministry of Culture (Tel: 02-2375-8368) and the Ministry of Culture (Tel: 02-2343-4000)
International publicity services will be transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Tel: 02-3356-8113)
Domestic news services and contacts will be transferred to the Executive Yuan (Tel: 02-3356-8888).
Though the information on this site will no longer be updated, it will continue to be available for browsing until August 30, 2012.
